First Pattern on Etsy and Ravelry

I finally posted a pattern on my Etsy shop (and Ravelry). It’s for a pair of fingerless gloves/mitts inspired by this holidays season.

Candy Cane Gloves by LadyLamb

Candy Cane Gloves

The red and white stripes take us to Christmas Town with candy canes, peppermint bark and other Christmas goodies. And the side stripe with buttons is a reference to spats and the Victorian Era, when christmas was a celebration appreciated by the whole family.

This is a simple pattern and the main difficulty is the color change. But still, I believe it’s an easy project even for beginners.

The handmade gloves will be on the shop soon.

Enjoy!

Hi there! Loving your blog, my name is Katie Elliott I am the creater of Tag a Trend.co.uk (www.tagatrend.co.uk) The website works like this: each week I announce a new fashion trend, and people then tag themselves on Facebook wearing that trend. This is done by tagging their picture with the Tag a Trend Facebook page. The best pics then appear on my site.
This week’s trend is ‘Winter Warmers’ – winter hats, scarves and gloves and as can see you have been wrapping up warm, I thought you might be interested in getting involved and tagging yourself in some hats, scarves or gloves! I will also include a link back to your blog!!
Look forward to hearing from you,
    Katie
