Christmas is almost here, and with it lots of cosy, cute, lovely decorations and Christmas markets.
On the weekend of November 30 and December 1, I will be sharing a stand with a friend on the “Alletiders Julemarked” in Middelaldercentret (Denmark). She will be selling lovely clothing and accessories that would make great gifts, and I will be selling cute Christmas decorations and a yummy chocolate. All handmade.
I still don’t know danish but the translation of the market poster says something like this:
“Experience the cosy Christmas market with the medieval center’s buildings as atmospheric background.
Here you will find inspiration for the Christmas table, gifts and tree. In the houses you will find stalls selling local products, woodcraft, snaps, jewellery, crafts and more. On the square you can buy rice pudding, mulled wine, sausages and fritters.
Discover also singing, music and fun games for kids and the young at heart. And of course, Santa Claus will be visiting.”
So, if you live in Denmark, come and visit us. You can find more information on the poster (and clicking on the poster or link above).
If you are not in Denmark or cannot come to this particular market, please go to other Christmas markets and buy handmade. You will be helping a lot of people and you know that you will get something that was made with care and hard-work.
